Annually about 40.000 enthusiastic visitors from near and far are coming to attend the Salzburg “Adventsingen“ (Christmas Carol Singing). The fascination and the atmosphere of this unique event with decades of tradition cannot be described in just a few words. The guests are like a big family when they appear in the world-famous Salzburg Festival Hall to hear the Christian message of unity and peace, of warmth and light.

With simplicity and honesty the biblical saying is viewed from our nowadays´ point of view. Traditional alpine cultural assets, ancient songs and ditties as well as modern compositions  are forming harmonious scenic-musical complete works.
